A Scattered Separation

A thousand tiny shards of glass,

Lay spread out on the floor,

No pattern,

No rhythm,

Without direction or purpose,

Just a disorienting mess on the floor,

Unsure of all,

All except for the strength of unity,

The type of unity that existed before the separation,

This separation that is now scattered across wide and far,

But perhaps unity is not what is needed here,

Perhaps separation is what will aid you in this endeavor for happiness,

Unity will only seek to shield you from harm,

But by shielding you it will also keep you from experiencing the world,

Experiencing conditions that could bring magic to the existence you surround yourself in,

Therefore a scattered separation may be the best thing for you,

Wouldn’t you agree?
